FORLATS (Forestry License Application and Tracking System) The objectives of the system are:

A web-based application which will allow applicant to submit their applications electronically,
Track applications status on the process at any given moment,
Capture and store forestry license application information,
Generate reliable statistics on the amount of licenses issued per license type,
Generate reliable statistics on the lapsed time per process,
Accurate audit trails of all changes carried out on the tracking system,
Accurate and timeous processing of license applications, and
Accurate reporting and management of license information.
